JT Reports from India

‘LBC students arrived safe and well in Northern India and are now fully immersed into the life and culture. We have been here for over a week and the highlights so far have been ministering in Life Church India and ministering to over 100 children from Hindu and Buddhists backgrounds in a local outreach with songs, skits, games, crafts and balloon modeling!! The children are beautiful and all the students were moved with the love and the compassion of Christ and all their hearts were touched.


We then traveled onto Varanasi which is the holy city for the Hindi religion. Hindu’s believe that to die and be cremated on the River Ganges in Varanasi enables the person to come out of the cycle of reincarnation and go to Narvarna – their place of heaven!! It was a heart moving time and shows us that the harvest is vast and the call is resounding loud and clear to a radical surrender to Christ to see His Kingdom come and the power of the gospel preached to every nation, tribe and tongue.

The missionaries and all the Life Church missions staff have been so hospitable and are taking great care of us. We are about to travel to Sikkim at an elevation of 5,500 meters to minister in local churches, villages and homes. So far, the students describe their experiences as amazing, alarming, challenging, inspiring, gut wrenching, emotional, enjoyable, welcoming, dynamic, hectic and chaotic!! With still 2 weeks left, we are full of faith, hope and love to see Christ magnified in all that we see and do.’
