A Life Changing Experience – story from SLM India

The following report was written recently by one of our workers who heads up the work at the India base. The report details a testimony from a previous student who graduated from SLM. We came to know Pastor Bedu two years ago when he sent a student from West Nepal to attend SLM in India. He sent another student last year and was so happy with the work that God had done in these students that he himself decided to attend. Leaving his growing church of around 300 people, he gave 5 months to study and seek the will of God. Fortunately, he was able to attend with his wife and their 3 year old son. It was quite incredible to see this experienced Pastor sitting in class and hungering for the Word of God. He and his wife graduated in December 2009 and were so full of all they had seen, heard and received while in SLM. Here is an extract from an email sent to us just after he returned to West Nepal.

“After SLM graduation, we have all departed but in spirit we are always joined together. When we are returning from SLM to Nepal, we had faced so many problems because of strike on road. In that time more than 5 people died fighting with police for their own rights, so that we walked more than 105 km it took 5 days to reach our village. We carried all of our luggage and my son, it was looking very funny but no problem because God was with us. I know he has prepared me for the ministry that I have to reach many places for His gospel (in mountains, hill etc…..).So, please pray for Nepal and my family and my ministry.”

He received a charge from the Lord while in SLM to reach the unreached and as you can see from his email, he is planning to reach many places with the Gospel.
