Nepal Missions Base
Life Church Missions began working in Nepal in October 2001. Chandra and Jo head up our work in Nepal, which includes a weekly Fellowship (church), and work on an Oral Bible Storying Project to aid bringing the Gospel to unreached people groups living high in the Himalayas.
The RANCH (Remote Area of Nepal Children’s Home)
We opened The RANCH in April 2003 in response to the alarming death rate statistics of children living in the remote Himalaya area. The home is a sanctuary for young children to be raised in a Godly, healthy environment where they are provided with healthcare, education, vocational training and social, emotional and spiritual care.
Each child at the RANCH comes from unreached villages high in the Himalaya. The vision for The RANCH is that each child will return to their village and become an integral part of their local communities, bringing with them not only the much needed education and awareness that is currently lacking in the region, improving standards and quality of life for the families and generations to come, but also the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the Himalayas.
